I LOVE LOVE LOVE Thanksgiving in Illinois!! We go every other year and I love it! I only see my extended family once a year so the time that we are there is special!
There is something about making chicken and dumplin’s for 30+ people that is so fun! Everyone has a designated “job” and it is times like these though that I miss the best supervisor/all time taster (Grandpa). Grandma is now the “supervisor” and Dad gladly stepped in as “taster” :)
