Dylan turns 5!?!?

I’m not sure how it happened but my “baby” turned 5. I was SO emotional the weeks leading up to the big date but held it together pretty well on the actual day.

My sweet Dylan,

How is it possible that you are 5?!? I can remember everything about that day, and it will be a day I never forget.

I am so proud of the sweet boy that you are.  You are sympathetic, and passionate, you are VERY inquisitive, talkative, loving, and generous. You are loved by your teachers and they have more than once told you Dad and I what a focused, fun-loving, and kind boy you are. You are the BEST big brother!! You never complain when asked to help with Miles and have never complained when you haven’t gotten as much attention because we were taking care of Miles. You also LOVE to get Miles laughing, and he thinks you are hilarious!! You adore your Mimi, Honey, and Pops and can hardly wait to see all your aunts and uncles. You are great with your cousins and they watch every move you make. You have an infectious laugh and a witty sense of humor. You pride yourself in your unmatched foot speed :) and your incredible Cars collection. You have your moments when you are incredibly emotional and sensitive, but have gotten much better at recovering when you have a “noodle” moment. You are a “pleaser” and want to do right (which would be why you go to time-out rarely) but you can have an attitude when you are tired. You keep us laughing and entertained ALL the time!  

Your Dad and I love you more than you’ll ever know and we pray that these next 5 years will be as wonderful as the first 5.
